A private self-check

How have you been feeling?

Seven questions that many people find useful for putting words to the past two weeks.

Your answers stay on your device

Nothing you enter here is sent to us, or to anyone else. There is no account, no submit button that goes anywhere, and nothing is stored — not on our end, and not even in this browser.

When you close this page, your answers are gone. If you want to keep a copy, you can save or print one at the end.

This is the GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7), a short questionnaire used widely in healthcare settings to get a general sense of how often someone has been experiencing anxiety-related symptoms.

It is not a diagnosis. Seven questions cannot tell you what is going on. This page is not a substitute for talking with a doctor or a licensed mental health professional. What it can do is give you a clearer starting point for that conversation.

Consider how you have been feeling over the last two weeks. Answer the following questions and choose the answer that comes closest. There are no right or wrong answers.

What this does and doesn’t tell you

This questionnaire cannot diagnose anything. Only a qualified professional can do that, and they will look at far more than seven questions — your history, your circumstances, your physical health, and much else besides.

Scores also move around. A hard fortnight can lift a score, and a calm one can lower it. A single result is a snapshot, not a verdict.
